Farmers can get a 55% discount on drip irrigation, mini sprinklers, and portable sprinkler systems

The government is providing grants to farmers for micro irrigation methods; find out when applications will be accepted

Due to climate change over the last few decades, monsoon rains have been decreasing year after year. As a result, many states across the country are concerned about groundwater depletion. States such as Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh are among them. This year, the water level in Madhya Pradesh has dropped due to a lack of rain and continuous exploitation of groundwater, resulting in insufficient water for agriculture.

The alarm is that a drought situation has developed here, resulting in farmers in many districts not having enough water for irrigation. This is why new measures and schemes for crop irrigation are being implemented. For that, the Madhya Pradesh government is running the Atal Bhujal Yojana. The Madhya Pradesh Horticulture Department is providing farmers with up to a 55 percent subsidy under this scheme for using micro-irrigation techniques such as drip irrigation, mini sprinklers, and portable sprinkler systems. The grant amount will be directly transferred to the beneficiary farmers' accounts under the scheme.

So please let us tell you in detail about micro-irrigation techniques such as drip irrigation, mini sprinklers, and portable sprinkler systems, as well as the grant available through this Tractor News article.

This Scheme Will Provide Farmers With Subsidies
