Retail tractor sales fell by 31.72% in August 2022, with 49,305 units sold

According to FADA tractor sales data, total retail sales in August 2022 were 49,305 units, compared to 72,208 units sold in August 2021. This data shows a 31.72% decrease in retail tractor sales.

Tractor Sales by Brand in August 2022

Mahindra Tractor is a well-known brand, but the company lost 27.11% this time. Mahindra retail tractor sales in August 2022 were 11,605 units, up from 15,921 units in August 2021. The brand's market share, on the other hand, increased by 1.49% this month.

Swaraj Tractor also suffered a 29.58% loss in retail tractor sales in August 2022. As a result, the company sold 8,135 units in August 2022, compared to 11,552 units the previous year. As a result, Swaraj Tractor increased its market share by 0.5%.

TAFE Limited sold 6,447 units in August 2022, compared to 8,626 units in August 2021, representing a 25.26% decrease in retail tractor sales. Despite this, the company increased its market share by 1.13% this year.

Sonalika Tractor retail sales in August 2022 were 5,709 units, compared to 8,252 units in August 2021, representing a 30.81% decrease in retail tractor sales. The brand's market share, however, increased by 0.15%.

Escorts Group suffered a 35.13% monthly loss in tractor retail tractor sales. As a result, in August 2022, the company sold 4,882 units, compared to 7,526 units in August 2021. As a result, the Escorts Group lost 0.52% of its market share in August 2022.

John Deere Tractor, an innovative tractor manufacturer, saw a 31.46% decrease in tractor retail sales. As a result, the company sold 3,740 units in August 2022, up from 5,457 units in August 2021. However, John Deere tractors maintained their market share by 0.03% this time.

Eicher Tractor experienced a 36.92% drop in August 2022. Eicher Tractor sales in August 2022 were 2,713 units, down from 4,301 units in August 2021.

In August 2022, New Holland Tractor Company reported a 31.25% decrease in retail tractor sales. However, New Holland's market share remained stable at 0.02%.

Kubota tractor also reported a 19.42% decrease in tractor retail sales this month. In August 2022, Kubota sold 1,340 units, up from 1,663 units in August 2021. Nonetheless, the company increased its market share by 0.42%.

This time, Force Tractor suffered a loss of 31.86% in tractor retail sales. Force tractor sales for the month were 278 units, with 408 units expected in August 2021. As a result, the Force's market share dropped by 0.01%.

VST Tillers & tractors is a well-known brand in the tractor industry. In the retail tractor sales report issued by FADA this time, the company recorded a massive loss of 68.38%. In August 2022, VST also lost 0.89% of its market share.

Indo Farm Tractor increased retail tractor sales by 9.12% in August 2022. As a result, Indo Farm sold 311 units in August 2022, up from 285 units the previous year. As a result, Indo Farm Tractor increased its market share by 0.24%.

Captain Tractors experienced an 82.71% drop in August 2022. Captain Tractor sales in August 2022 were 283 units, compared to 1,637 units in August 2021.

Aside from that, retail tractor sales were 1,557 units in August 2022 compared to 2,578 units in August 2021, indicating a 39.60% drop in the retail sales market.
