The Bihar government has decided to provide grants to farmers who establish maize food processing units, which will help farmers who want to establish food processing units.

Farmers and individual investors will be eligible for subsidies of up to 15% on the cost of maize processing units, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs and FPCs) will be eligible for subsidies of up to 25%.
