ZEPTO BLOOM-Zepto Launches Farmer App to Help from Sowing to Selling

On Friday, E-grocery start-up Zepto launched a farmer engagement program, a one-of-its-kind app “Zepto Bloom” for farmers, digitalizing all processes right from sowing to selling. The 10-minute delivery app will help farmers who sell on Zepto to streamline their supplies and yields. Announcing the launch at an event, Zepto will onboard 300 farmers from Maharashtra on the app.

On Friday, E-grocery start-up Zepto launched a farmer engagement program, a one-of-its-kind app “Zepto Bloom” for farmers, digitalizing all processes right from sowing to selling. The 10-minute delivery app will help farmers who sell on Zepto to streamline their supplies and yields.  Announcing the launch at an event, Zepto will onboard 300 farmers from Maharashtra on the app.

From tracking sowing to harvesting to receiving seamless payments on the sale of the produce this farmer app is the best solution that will serve to the holistic range of farmers’ requirements. Collection centres made across villages will enable farmers to sell their agri products directly with the help of apps be it price auctions or lengthy credit transactions with buyers in the market. Farmers can also choose their trade destination with complete transparency of the prices for their produce through the Zepto Bloom App. The farmers will also have access to on-ground agronomist support at the time of production, clarity on demand, and grading aligned to the harvesting period.

Currently, Zepto derivate directly from over a thousand farmers from across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. The company plans to extend its network to the states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand through its Zepto Bloom Programme in 2023.
