The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued weather predictions for various states in India, indicating significant rainfall and thunderstorm activity in multiple regions until September 30. Here's a breakdown of the forecasted weather conditions:

Rainfall Predictions:

Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Tamil Nadu: Parts of these regions are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall with isolated instances of heavy downpours until September 30.

Odisha and Interior Karnataka: Similar weather conditions, including light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall, are anticipated on September 29 and 30.

Coastal Karnataka and Kerala: Rainfall is expected from September 28 to 30, with isolated heavy showers in some areas.

Tamil Nadu and Mahe: Isolated parts of these regions are likely to witness heavy rainfall until September 30.

Konkan, Goa, and Central Maharashtra: Heavy rainfall is expected in these areas from September 26 to 29, with isolated very heavy rainfall predicted for Konkan and Goa on September 28.

Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand: Light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy showers is forecasted for September 30.

Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Mahe: Heavy rainfall is anticipated on September 30 in isolated areas of these regions.

Thunderstorm Predictions:

Thunderstorms with lightning are expected to occur in various parts of the country on different dates:

September 27: Isolated pockets of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Gujarat, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, central Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, Yanam, Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe, and Lakshadweep are likely to experience thunderstorms with lightning.

September 28: East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, and Lakshadweep may witness thunderstorms with lightning.

September 29-30: East Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Telangana are likely to experience similar weather conditions during these dates.

Additionally, the IMD has reported gusty winds, with speeds of up to 40-50 kmph, in Andaman & Nicobar Islands until September 30, and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph in Kerala and Mahe until the same date.
