Two Brothers Organic Farms (TBOF) has announced the successful completion of its Pre-Series A funding round, securing INR 14.5 crores. This funding will act as a stepping stone towards its Series A funding and will be utilized to expand TBOF’s manufacturing capacity, develop farmer training centers, and expand its domestic and international business operations.
Furthermore, this investment will enable TBOF to empower farmers, generate more employment opportunities for women in villages, and improve rural livelihoods.
Satyajit Hange and Ajinkya Hange, two brothers hailing from Bhodani, Pune, founded TBOF. They had previously worked as bankers but quit their jobs to start an organic farm. Their primary objective is to promote organic farming and raise awareness among farmers about its significance.
Over the years, the brothers have launched several initiatives to achieve their goal, and they have successfully trained more than 16,000 farmers in sustainable farming methods.
