UN Recognizes Agri-Food Startup "Farmers Fresh Zone"

Farmers Fresh Zone (Farmers FZ), an agricultural food startup, has gained acknowledgment from the United Nations for its distinctive approach and operational methods, according to the company's statement. The startup's effective business approach integrates the farm-to-fork principle, with a key emphasis on reducing food wastage and promoting both local production and consumption.
During a recent gathering in Rome, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, selected Farmers Fresh Zone as a standout participant in the SDG Agri-food Accelerator initiative, which was orchestrated by the United Nations. The distinctive approach and operational methods of the company, as emphasized in their statement, played a pivotal role in securing this recognition.
The central goal of the program is to aid agrifood startups in scaling their endeavors while adhering to the Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations. The business approach of Farmers Fresh Zone effectively correlates with and contributes to multiple SDGs, encompassing SDG 1, SDG 2, SDG 12, and more.
