Tractor Manufacturer TAFE Invests Rs 500 Cr in Tamil Nadu to Upgrade Its Farm Machinery Division

Leading tractor manufacturer, Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd. (TAFE) is injecting Rs 500 crore into Tamil Nadu for the expansion of its farm equipment division and upgrading the assembly facility for 'Silent Generators.'

Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd. (TAFE), a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery, has announced a significant investment of Rs 500 crore in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. This investment will be used to expand TAFE's farm equipment division and upgrade its manufacturing facility for the assembly and export of "Silent Generators".

The expansion of TAFE's farm equipment division in Tamil Nadu will also focus on producing advanced machinery for a wider range of crops to meet the needs of both the Indian and international markets. This will involve the development of new and efficient tools that can help farmers increase their productivity and profitability.

This agreement was formalized during the second day of the Global Investors Meet hosted by the DMK government, witnessed by Chief Minister M K Stalin and Industries Minister T R B Rajaa.

Furthermore, TAFE Ltd plans to invest in upgrading its facility for assembling and exporting 'Silent Generators' to Middle East and African markets. The company also envisions establishing and developing a facility in the state, although specific details remain undisclosed. The company hints at establishing a cutting-edge design and development unit in the state, although specific details remain undisclosed.

Mallika Srinivasan, the Chairman and Managing Director of TAFE, expressed enthusiasm about leveraging Tamil Nadu's industrialized environment, investor-friendly governance, and diverse talent pool to explore new growth opportunities through collaboration with the state government.
