The Tractor and Mechanization Association (TMA) convened its highly anticipated Annual General Meeting on September 13, 2023. The prestigious event saw the participation of influential figures from the tractor industry, lending their expertise and insights to chart the course for the sector's future.

At the forefront of the meeting were prominent personalities who have made indelible contributions to the tractor industry. Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Harish Chavan, Chief Executive Officer of the Swaraj Division at Mahindra Group, T.R Kesavan, President & COO of Tafe - Tractors And Farm Equipment Limited, Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director at International Tractors Limited (Sonalika & Solis) and Sonalika Group Vice-Chairman AS Mittal, among others, graced the platform with their presence.

A Recap of the AGM

The Annual General Meeting is a significant event where TMA's management and various committees present their accomplishments from the past year while outlining the roadmap for the upcoming year. Every two years, committee leadership changes through elections. In this year's transition, Mr. Hemant Sikka of Mahindra passed the President's baton to Mr. AS Mittal of Sonalika Group.

During the meeting, comprehensive reviews were conducted across all committees, including the Technical Committee, Marketing Committee, New Initiatives Committee, and Finance Committee.
