On Friday, KT Rama Rao, Telangana's IT and Industry Minister, introduced India's inaugural Agricultural Data Exchange (ADeX) and Agriculture Data Management Framework (ADMF). An official statement underscored that ADeX, established as a digital public infrastructure for the agricultural sector, resulted from a collaboration between the Telangana Government, the World Economic Forum, and the Indian Institute of Science.

Minister Rao stressed that both ADeX and ADMF function as platforms to ensure equitable and effective utilization of agricultural data, fostering growth in the data economy, particularly within agriculture. These initiatives highlight Telangana's role in pioneering national innovation and technology efforts, driving positive changes in food systems, and enhancing farmers' livelihoods.

In the project's initial phase, the ADeX Platform is currently operational in the Khammam district and will progressively extend to cover the entire state.
