Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has announced that the transfer of Rythu Bandhu funds to farmers for the upcoming kharif season will commence on June 26. The Rythu Bandhu scheme, a farmer investment initiative in Telangana, provides farmers with an incentive of Rs 5000 per acre of land as an investment for their crops.

Upon the decision, Chief Minister KCR directed Finance Minister T Harish Rao and Additional Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao to ensure the timely deposition of funds into the bank accounts of the farmers. This move aims to support the agricultural community and empower them financially.

Additionally, addressing the issuance of patta (land titles) for Podu lands in the state, KCR stated, "Once the land titles were distributed to the Podu land farmers, they would also be considered for the Rythu Bandhu assistance." This inclusion highlights the government's commitment to extending the benefits of the Rythu Bandhu scheme to a wider range of farmers.
