Syngenta And IoTechWorld Avigation Will Commercially Begin Spraying Agrochemicals With Drones
IoTechWorld and Syngenta have already conducted the drone yatra in 13 states, demonstrating the benefits of agriculture drones to over 1 lakh farmers over a 17,000-kilometer journey.

From the upcoming Kharif season, agri-drone manufacturer IoTechWorld Avigation and agro-chemical major Syngenta India will begin commercial spraying services in many states, including Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Haryana.
For the same, Syngenta India signed a drone spraying agreement with IoTechWorld in February 2023.
IoTechWorld and Syngenta have already conducted the drone yatra in 13 states, demonstrating the benefits of agriculture drones to over 1 lakh farmers over a 17,000-kilometer journey, according to a statement from the startup.
A joint pilot activity using actual agrochemicals was successfully carried out in Ludhiana, Punjab, where farmers and agri-entrepreneurs were briefed on the advantages of using drone technology in agrochemical spraying.
"We have joined hands with Syngenta India to facilitate drone spraying across India," said IoTechWorld co-founders Deepak Bhardwaj and Anoop Upadhyay. "We conducted a pilot in the state of Punjab, and the response has been very positive. As a next step, both companies intend to expand their operations in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal," they said.
