Gurugram-based Zetta Farms, a pioneering force in formalizing the agricultural sector, unveils 'Zetta Rozgaar Yojna' (ZRY), a groundbreaking initiative. The scheme aims to employ farmers, turning them into salaried individuals, while also introducing a pension plan for them.

Rituraj Sharma, Zetta Farms co-founder, shares plans to cultivate over 9,000 acres, impacting the lives of 4,500 farmers through ZRY, with future expansion potential linked to community support.

Since its establishment in 2014, Zetta Farms has led the charge in revitalizing India's agriculture. The startup's innovative approach combines agricultural knowledge and business acumen, focusing on sustainable farming and diversified crop cultivation. A significant component of their strategy involves acquiring land and providing fixed salaries to employed farmers.

Under the ZRY program, Zetta Farms will employ one farmer for every two additional acres of land they cultivate, creating stable job opportunities. The company ensures a consistent monthly income for each farmer, irrespective of crop yields.

Additionally, Zetta Farms pioneers a unique pension fund for farmers, possibly making it the first private enterprise to offer such a benefit to the farming community. Plans for farmer insurance are also in the works, aimed at safeguarding livelihoods from potential risks.
