Sonalika Tractors, a leading player in the agricultural machinery sector, has announced a whopping investment of Rs 1,300 crore for expanding its manufacturing facility in Punjab. The company is gearing up to fortify its operations with the introduction of two new plants, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey.
The cornerstone of this expansion was laid down by none other than the honourable Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, underscoring the state's support towards fostering industrial growth. Sonalika Tractors is set to invest Rs 1000 crore in erecting a state-of-the-art tractor assembly plant, aimed at bolstering its export capabilities. Additionally, a sum of Rs 300 crore will be channelled into setting up a cutting-edge high-pressure foundry.
The new tractor assembly facility holds immense promise, with a dedicated focus on meeting the company's burgeoning export demands. Once fully operational, it is expected to augment Sonalika's annual production capacity by a whopping 1 lakh tractors, a testament to the company's commitment to scaling new heights.
