Retail Tractor Sales Declined By 28% In July 2022, With 59,573 Units Sold.

FADA issues retail tractor sales figures for July 2022

Kharif’s periodic monsoon and uncertainty impacted retail tractor sales in July. As a result, sales were 59,573 units in July 2022 compared to 82419 units in July 2021, indicating a 27.72 percent decrease in tractor sales in July 2022.

July 2022 Sales Statistics Release

Mahindra Tractor sold 14,295 tractor units, a 29.29 percent decrease from the previous year's total of 20,217 units. As a result, the company's market share falls by 0.53 percent.

Swaraj division Mahindra limited, known for its brand value propositions, reported a 19.61 percent decrease in July 2022 sales, selling 10,542 units compared to 13,114 units sold in July 2021. Despite the decline in sales, the company increases its market share by 1.79 percent.

Sonalika tractor sold 7406 units in July 2022, while the company sold 9139 units in July 2021, indicating an 18.96% decrease in sales. On the other hand, the company's market share increased by 1.34 percent.

TAFE limited tractor sales fell by 34.23 percent, with 6,615 units sold, and compared to 10,058 units sold in July 2021. In addition, the company's market share fell by 1.1 percent.

Escorts Kubota limited sold 6306 units in July 2022, compared to 8819 units in July 2021, a decrease of 2513 units from the previous year. Aside from that, the company loses 0.11 percent of its market share.

John Deere reported July 2022 tractor sales that were down 26.76 percent from July 2021, when the company sold 1634 units more than the previous year. On the contrary, the company's market share increased by 0.1 percent.

Eicher tractors reported a 33.36 percent decrease in sales, selling 3565 units, whereas the company sold 5350 units in July 2021, which is higher than the current year. As a result, the company's market share fell by 0.51 percent.

In July 2022, New Holland tractor sold 2035 units compared to the previous year's sales of 2964 units, indicating a 929-unit decrease in sales. As a result, the New Holland Company loses 0.18 percent of its market share.

Kubota tractors released its July 2022 sales report, which shows declining sales, with 1382 units sold, compared to 2001 units sold in July 2021, a drop of 30.93 percent in the current year. In addition, the company's market share fell by 0.2 percent.

Captain tractor sold 434 units in July 2022, representing a 15.72 percent decrease from the previous year's sales of 515 units. Additionally, the company increased its market share by 0.11 percent.

Force tractor sales fell 9.8 percent in July 2022, with 405 units sold, compared to 449 units sold in July 2021. On the other hand, the company's market share grows by 0.14 percent.

VST Tractors & Tillers reported tractor sales of 375 units in July 2022, a drop of 59.42 percent from the previous year, while the company sold 924 units in July 2021, a much higher figure than the current year. In addition, the company's market share fell by 0.49 percent.

In July 2022, Indo Farm tractor sold 251 units, a 7.04 percent decrease. However, the company's market share remains stable at 0.09 percent.

Other tractor brand retail tractor sales were 1,489 units in July 2022 and 2,492 units in July 2021, representing a 40.25 percent loss. They also lost 0.52 percent of their market share.
