Rajat IG Biotech, Dr. YS Parmar University Collaborate To Create Clean Planting Material

Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, located in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, has partnered with Rajat IG Biotech to launch a joint project. The project's primary objective is to produce and market clean planting material for the industry. The partnership brings together the university's agricultural research expertise and the technical know-how and commercial reach of Rajat IG Biotech.
The objective of the collaboration is to create top-notch planting material that is free from diseases and caters to the requirements of the industry. Through the utilization of advanced techniques and technologies, the partners aim to provide a variety of clean planting material that is reasonably priced, dependable, and environmentally friendly.
Dr. Sanjeev Chauhan, the Director of Research at Dr. YS Parmar University, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Rajat IG Biotech and its significance. He stated that the collaboration will not only enhance the university's research abilities but will also offer farmers and the industry access to exceptional planting materials that can increase productivity and profitability. This partnership is expected to strengthen research capabilities and promote the development of high-quality planting materials to improve agricultural outcomes.
Rajat IG Biotech will be responsible for marketing and selling the clean planting material that is produced as a result of this collaboration. As per the MoU, the university will receive a portion of the revenue generated from the sale of these plants.
