Rajasthan Government Offers a 70 Per Cent Subsidy on Greenhouse Farming-Know Where To Apply?

Through this technique, we can cultivate seasonal and off-season crops continuously for the whole year. The greenhouse technique helps in protecting crops and keep them free from pests as well as diseases.
In Greenhouse farming, first of all, you have to build a greenhouse which can be very costly. It is somewhat little difficult for small and marginal farmers to bear its cost. For helping out the state farmers from this situation Rajasthan government has come forward.
The Gehlot government provides a 50 per cent subsidy to general farmers for the construction of greenhouses of a maximum of 4000 square meters area, while it gives a subsidy of up to 70 per cent to small, marginal, scheduled caste, and scheduled tribe farmers.
Where To Apply-
Farmers can apply for subsidies on greenhouse construction by visiting the Rajkisan Saathi Portal. Apart from this, applications can also be applied by visiting the nearest E-Mitra centre.
During this period, farmers should have an RoR copy (not more than 6 months old), an Aadhaar work permit and water test report, a quotation from the approved firm, and proof of irrigation source. The small, marginal, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe farmers should have their Identification Certificate.
The construction of the greenhouse can be started only after getting administrative approval from the Horticulture Department. After construction, its verification will be done by the constituted committee.
