Prompt Group Launches Solar MilkoChill Units, Instant Milk Chillers to Revolutionize Dairy Industry
Prompt Group's Solar MilkoChill units signify a leap towards a more efficient, sustainable, and prosperous dairy industry, promising positive implications for farmers, dairies, and consumers alike.
Prompt Group, a renowned provider of equipment and software solutions within the dairy supply chain, achieved a significant milestone in the dairy sector by introducing 10 Solar MilkoChill units, which are cutting-edge instant milk chillers. These units were inaugurated in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan, marking a notable advancement in the industry. The cutting-edge technology was introduced on Friday, promising to transform the dairy landscape.
Installed at the Asha Mahila Milk Producers Company, these Solar MilkoChill units stand as a result of collaboration and financial support from the World Wide Fund (WWF) India. These revolutionary units offer a solution to a critical concern in the dairy sector – the time lapse between milking and the initial chilling of milk. Efficient chilling at the source is pivotal to curbing bacterial growth and upholding milk quality. Prompt's Solar MilkoChill unit addresses this challenge head-on by enabling immediate chilling, thus minimizing spoilage, preserving quality, extending shelf life, and subsequently augmenting farmers' earnings.
Shridhar Mehta, Managing Director of Prompt Group, emphasized the significance of this innovation, stating, "Our Solar MilkoChill unit is a groundbreaking product that signifies a significant advancement in enhancing milk quality through pioneering solar-powered chilling technology." This alternative complements the existing bulk milk cooler solutions and has the potential to reshape the dairy sector. Mehta added that the product aligns with Prompt Group's commitment to usher in positive change and sustainable solutions for the dairy industry.

Dharmendra Malik, CEO of Asha Mahila Milk Producers Company, lauded the collaboration, emphasizing the advantages of instant chilling technology. The adoption of this technology is poised to benefit both dairy farmers and the dairy industry, leading to improved milk quality and dairy product standards. Malik highlighted that this advancement opens doors to economic growth for dairy farmers and dairies alike.
The Solar MilkoChill units address a major challenge – unreliable power supply, which becomes even more critical as dairy operations expand to remote villages. This solution not only promises consistent milk chilling but also supports the government's mission of doubling farmers' income by minimizing milk spoilage and enhancing earnings through superior milk quality.
Meenesh Shah, Chairman of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), praised innovative technologies like instant milk chillers for their role in positioning India as a prominent player in the global dairy market. Shah expressed satisfaction that Prompt Group's technology is based on solar power, aligning with sustainability goals.
The inauguration event featured addresses from key leaders and stakeholders in the dairy industry, emphasizing the pivotal role of innovative technology in shaping the future of dairy production. The introduction of instant milk chillers has been a long-standing aspiration of the dairy industry, which seeks to enhance milk quality sustainably and support the government's vision of boosting farmers' income.
Prompt Group's Solar MilkoChill units signify a leap towards a more efficient, sustainable, and prosperous dairy industry, promising positive implications for farmers, dairies, and consumers alike.
