What exactly is the Polyhouse subsidy scheme?

The Bihar Agriculture Department's Directorate of Horticulture manages the Horticulture Development Scheme for protected cultivation. Farmers will receive 75% assistance under this scheme, with the cost of a Polyhouse unit set at Rs 935 per square meter. According to the rules of the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana, the subsidy amount will be allocated per square meter for the construction of poly houses. Farmers can set up poly houses in areas ranging from 1000 to 4000 square meters under the scheme.
