PM Modi Announced the Release of 13th Installment of PM-Kisan Fund on February 27-2023

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute the 13th installment of financial benefits totaling Rs 16,800 crore to more than eight crore qualified farmers under the PM-KISAN program on Monday, February 27-2023, in forge ahead of Holi and rabi harvesting celebrations.

According to a formal announcement made on Sunday, the much-anticipated release of the PM-KISAN 13th installment will take place in Belagavi, Karnataka.

As part of the PM-Kisan program, the PM will give each farmer Rs 2000. In accordance with PM-KISAN, the government offers farmers a valid enrollment income support of 6,000 per year, which is distributed in three equal cash transfers of 2,000 each, one every four months. The first payment was made on February 24-2019, the day it was made public.

The government has paid eligible farmers more than 2.24 lakh crore since the program's inception.

The event is anticipated to draw close to one lakh people, including recipients of the PM-KISAN curriculum and the Jal Jeevan Project. Manoj Ahuja, the Agriculture Secretary, and Narendra Singh Tomar, the Union Agriculture Minister, will both be present, according to the news source Krishi Jagran.

The federal government is responsible for paying the entire cost of the central sector program PM-KISAN. The beneficiaries must be identified by the state governments in accordance with the program's regulations. Any farming household with land may take part, but there are restrictions like income caps, tax obligations, and asset values.
