In an effort to address the concerns of eligible farmers who have been unable to avail the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, the UP state government has announced the organization of camps at government agriculture seed stores in each development block. These camps aim to ensure that the 14th installment of the scheme is credited to the accounts of all eligible farmers.

The Additional Chief Secretary, Devesh Chaturvedi, has issued an order to all district magistrates, the Director of Agriculture, and Deputy Directors of Agriculture, instructing them to facilitate the smooth operation of these camps. The objective behind this initiative is to address every issue faced by farmers and ensure that they receive the benefits entitled to them under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, a government spokesperson stated.

The Central Government has made certain requirements mandatory for farmers to qualify for the scheme. These include conducting land surveys for all eligible farmers, linking their bank accounts with Aadhaar, and completing the e-KYC process. Subsequent instalments will be made through Aadhaar-related gateways, streamlining the disbursement process and ensuring transparency.
