The Government of India is implementing the PM Kisan Yojana to secure the future of the country's economically disadvantaged small and marginal farmers and provide them with social security benefits. This scheme, which went into effect on December 1, 2018, has proven to be a boon to farmers. This scheme has so far connected crores of farmers.

Under this scheme, all farmers receive 6,000 rupees per year as minimum income support, which is distributed in three installments of 2,000 rupees each in their accounts every four months. Farmers have received 11 installments under the Government of India's scheme up to this point.

The Modi government of the Center will send 2000-2000 rupees to farmers' bank accounts as the 12th installment under this scheme. However, the central government recently provided some updates on the 12th installment.

The Goal of Launching the PM Kisan Mobile App

The Government of India runs the Central Sector Scheme "Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN)" to increase the income of small and marginal farmers. It is being implemented by the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation, and Farmers Welfare under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare through the Department of Agriculture of the Governments of all the States and Union Territories, providing farmers with the direct benefit of installments.

The PM-KISAN Mobile App, designed and developed by the National Informatics Center (NIC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, has been launched to expand access to the scheme to all eligible beneficiaries.

The Mobile App will Contain Complete Information About the Scheme

Farmers can register for the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, check their registration and payment status, confirm their Aadhaar number, learn about the scheme, and dial the helpline number, among other things, using this mobile app. Aside from that, this app is available in a variety of Indian languages. This app provides a central location for farmers to access all relevant information.

• To download the PM Kisan Mobile App, first, navigate to the Google Play Store on your Android device.
• After opening Google Play Store, type PM Kisan Mobile App into the search box and press the search button.
• After that, on your screen, you must download the PM Kisan Mobile App by selecting the Government of India option. Following that, you can easily see a new application, Aadhaar verification, your status, etc. on this app.

• Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana beneficiaries must visit government offices, e-Mitra, and public welfare centers to obtain information about the scheme. However, too often, farmers do not receive adequate information about scheme updates.
• In such a case, the PM Kisan Mobile App can be used to resolve doubts and provide a variety of services while sitting at home.
• Farmers can access scheme-related information such as payment of installments, the status of honor amount in the bank account, change of name according to Aadhar card, registration status, eligibility of the scheme, and helpline number via this mobile app.
• The National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, created the PM Kisan Mobile App.
