The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is offering a valuable opportunity for agriculture enthusiasts in Punjab with a new training program for input dealers aged 18 to 40. The application deadline is January 10, and interviews are scheduled for January 12.

The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has launched a new training program for young agriculture input dealers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. The course, which will run from January 15 to March 27, is open to young people aged 18 to 40 years old who hold a matriculation certificate.

The main goal of the course is to provide participants with technical expertise in location-specific crop production technologies, field-related problem-solving, and efficient input handling. She emphasized the course's positive impact on livelihood security, enabling trainees to establish their businesses.

Those interested in applying for the course can obtain application forms from Krishi Vigyan Kendras in their respective districts or the PAU Skill Development Centre.

Online applications are also accepted through the university's website www.pau.edu. The application deadline is January 10, and interviews are scheduled for January 12 at 10:00 am at the center.

During the interview, candidates must present original and photocopies of matriculation and age-proof certificates. The course fee is ₹20,000, with additional charges for lodging and refreshments based on university rates.
