Pasighat : Workshop On Natural Farming Culminates
A recent three-day on-campus regional workshop was being concluded in the College Of Horticulture and Forestry Pasighat, in Arunachal Pradesh. They conducted a workshop on title “Natural Farming Theory To Practice: Learning From Practitioners".

A recent three-day on-campus regional workshop on the title, “Natural Farming Theory To Practice: Learning From Practitioners” was conducted by the College Of Horticulture and Forestry in Arunachal Pradesh.
The valedictory program was inaugurated by state BJP Kisan Morcha president, Dunggoli Libang and managed by CHF Dean Dr BN Hazarika.
This program was conducted in a hybrid mode, where different experts from natural farming, and practitioners where invited.
In remote mode people engaged were Chandrakant Sangur and Chandrashekhar NS from Karnataka, Ramesh Naidu from Andra Pradesh, Keshav B. Hole from Maharashtra, Shailndrasinh Chavda Samarth from Gujarat, Devender Singh from Himachal Pradesh and Keshav Makholiya from Uttarakhand, Dr. HK Veeranna from UAHS Shivamogga and Dr. Subhash Chander Verma, DYSPHF, Solan. Farmers Samir Bordoloi, Guwahati, Mrinal Doley, Jorhat, Rajeev Morang, Jorhat, and Dr. Atul Misong, Jorhat, Assam were present in Physical mode.
Amongst them, top officials like CoA Dean Dr. AK Tripathi, DHO Oter Gao, DAO Opang Moyong, and Dr. Ajaykumara KM were also present.
This program was fully funded and sponsored by ICAR-Experiential Learning Programme-Cow-based Natural farming, the Director of Instructions, Central Agricultural university-Imphal, Manipur (DIPRO).
Around 200 farmers had registered themselves in the program and actively participated. Farmers from East Siang, West Siang, Namsai, and Lower Dibang Valley in the state besides, the Jorhat and Karbi Anglong districts of Assam also visited.
