Odisha: Krishi Jagran Hosts 3 Day ‘Krishi Sanyantra Mela 2023’ In Balasore
Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, attended the conference virtually and praised Krishi Jagran for organizing the mela.
The three-day ‘Krishi Sanyantra Mela’ kick-started today at Kuruda Field in Balasore, Odhisa. The three-day event will continue from March 25 to 27, 2023. The Mela will bring together farmers, agricultural experts, and government officials to discuss the most recent agricultural innovations.
Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, attended the conference virtually and praised Krishi Jagran for organizing the mela.
He congratulated the conference on behalf of the Indian government and emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to the country's farmers' interests.
Shri Narendra Singh Tomar emphasized various government of India schemes and programmes, including the PM Kisan Yojana, which has already benefited 11.5 crore farmers across the country.
Tomar emphasized that farmers in Odisha are also benefiting from this scheme and improving their economic situation. Furthermore, he acknowledged that the Krishi Sanyantra Mela will benefit farmers by modernizing and advancing their farming techniques. He advocated for the establishment of farmer journalists (a Krishi Jagran initiative) in every village in India.
Shri Parshottam Rupala, Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, praised MC Dominic, the founder of Krishi Jagran, and the farmers of Odisha during the conference.
Shri Rupala acknowledged that with the assistance of Krishi Jagran's 'Farmer the Journalist' initiative, 1200 farmers have reported improved results in farming and animal husbandry. He emphasized that Krishi Jagran's commitment to farmers is admirable and necessary for the country's bright future.

Many dignitaries praised the event, including MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi, who congratulated and lauded Krishi Jagran for organizing the fair. Sarangi expressed his gratitude to the Balasore farmers and pledged his support for their agricultural endeavors.
MC Dominic, Founder, and Editor-in-Chief of Krishi Jagran, also spoke about the importance of agriculture innovation and the need for farmers to be open to new ideas and technologies.
About Krishi Sanyantra Mela 2023
Krishi Jagran is hosting this conference from March 25 to 27, 2023, with the theme "Explore the Unexplored Agri Odisha." The fair is expected to attract over 200 exhibitors, including manufacturers, dealers, and distributors of farm machinery and equipment. The exhibition will feature tractors, seed drills, planters, cultivators, harvesters, and other agricultural equipment, as well as a wide range of innovative agricultural technologies. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the most recent agricultural machinery and equipment at this conference.
