New Holland, a leading agricultural equipment manufacturer, has expanded its Speedrower Plus Series of self-propelled windrowers with the introduction of the Durabine 413 Plus disc header, providing farmers with a new head size option to boost productivity and maneuverability in the field.

Melissa Kelly, the livestock and dairy segment lead for New Holland Agriculture North America, expressed enthusiasm about the new offering, stating, "The new Durabine 413 Plus compliments our Durabine Series disc header lineup well by offering customers a new choice to enhance productivity and provide greater maneuverability on-road and in-field. When combined with the productivity, precision, and performance of our Speedrower Plus Series self-propelled windrowers, customers will have a fast-moving and fast-mowing combination."

The Durabine 413 Plus incorporates key components from the Discbine 313 Plus center-pivot disc mower-conditioners, such as the MowMax II Plus modular cutterbar and 125-inch-wide chevron-pattern steel or rubber conditioning rolls. Like the Discbine 313, the Durabine 413 Plus features the QuickMax knife-change system and ShockPro hubs as standard.

With a cutting width of over 13 feet and a cutting height as low as a half inch, the MowMax II Plus cutterbar ensures efficient and precise mowing of crops. Unlike traditional augers, the crop is directly transferred into the conditioning system, streamlining the harvesting process. Additionally, farmers can adjust the rolls' speed from 750 rpm to 640 rpm using interchangeable sheaves, catering to varying crop conditions, including light or late-season crops.

One of the standout features of the Durabine 413 Plus is its impressive maneuverability, with an overall width of 13 feet and 6 inches. This design allows the windrower to navigate tight roadways and easily enter gates in the field, increasing operational efficiency.

Maintenance has also been made convenient and accessible in the Durabine 413 Plus. The equipment boasts easy-to-lift poly bifold upper shields and a roll drive door made from durable poly with added steel protection at the bottom. The inclusion of material overlap ensures that the curtains stay in place without requiring additional clips or magnets.

With the introduction of the Durabine 413 Plus disc header, New Holland continues to deliver innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of farmers, offering a winning combination of productivity, maneuverability, and ease of maintenance. The new offering is set to empower farmers with enhanced efficiency and performance during their harvesting operations.
