New Holland Agriculture, a CNH Industrial brand, has opened a new training centre in Greater Noida to help employees, dealer teams, and customers improve their technical skills.
The new training facility provides technical and commercial training for tractors, harvesters, and balers. It can currently train 75 people at a time and will be expanded to 90 trainees in the coming months for various training programmes, according to a company press release.
"We are proud to have established this hi-tech training facility in India as it is the need of the hour," said Narinder Mittal, Managing Director of CNH Industrial- Agriculture Business, India and SAARC. “Our goal has a tech training facility in India because it is an urgent need. Our mission has always been to provide solutions to our stakeholders to increase farm productivity. We believe that the new training centre will help our customers, dealer partners, and employees learn about new technologies. It is also a step towards personalizing our interactions with customers and better understanding their needs to develop future products."
The knowledge centre is outfitted with a virtual reality space outfitted with cutting-edge technology to train operators in addition to more traditional in-field training, to provide a safe learning environment, particularly for new operators.
"We are delighted to inaugurate our new training centre for farm equipment operations in India," said Michael Moore, APAC Commercial and Technical Training Manager, CNH Industrial. “Upskilling and reskilling are critical, and we are committed to guiding our customers and employees, including our dealership teams, through this initiative. The cutting-edge facility will assist operators across India, as well as our employees, in understanding new industry technologies. We believe that the new training centre will aid in the coaching of each individual across the network, allowing them to be more effective in their roles."
The facility has three different training workshops for live assembly and disassembly on different tractor series, as well as a crop solutions workshop to handle combine harvesters, square balers, and rakes, making it a one-of-a-kind facility. These workshops will be led by four dedicated trainers for tractor operations and one for crop solution operations. According to the release, they are extremely knowledgeable about the brand's products available in India.
With the evolution of machines in the market, driven by new emission regulations, New Holland will ensure that dealer technicians have the necessary skills to keep customers operating in the field, according to the release.
