Netafim India Launches Affordable, Durable Drip Irrigation Technology for Farmers

Netafim India, a leading smart irrigation company, has launched Toofan, a new drip irrigation technology that is affordable, durable, and efficient for farmers of all sizes.

Toofan has advanced anti-clogging technology to deliver water and nutrients to crops effectively. The drip line is also 40% stronger and more durable than traditional drip lines, and it is 20% more affordable than existing NPC drip lines in India. This innovation aims to cover 25,000 hectares of land and reach 35,000 farmers in India by 2025, promoting sustainable agriculture.

Toofan is easy to buy and install, even for farmers who are not eligible for subsidies. It is designed for quick deployment, allowing farmers to cover up to 10 acres in a single day. Now, farmers of all scales, from large to small holdings, can access this cost-effective drip technology. It's designed for swift deployment, allowing farmers to cover up to 10 acres in a single day, a feature that conserves time and resources.

Toofan's TurboNext technology prevents clogging and enhances turbulence, allowing for lower flow rates and longer lateral lengths. This can save farmers up to 20% on system costs and 25% on labor costs per hectare. Toofan is a versatile system that can be used for surface or subsurface irrigation on flat terrain. It is ideal for row crops.

Toofan's online launch attracted immense attention, with 10 lakh people reached via Netafim India's social media. At the virtual event, Managing Director Randhir Chauhan presented this budget-friendly, super-durable product, ideal for flat-terrain row crops, promising increased crop yields.
