MoU Signed Between Samunnati And MP’s Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Promoting Sustainable Agriculture Practices

A Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Samunnati jointly with Jan Abhiyan Parishad promoted by Heartfulness Institute, Hyderabad on 18th March 2023.

The association's main goal is to empower and strengthen the Chief Minister’s Community  Leadership Development Program of Madhya Pradesh. Their target consists of redesigning the course curriculum on agriculture and rural economic empowerment. They also wish to enhance the web portal and other learning App technologies. This will help people to get more aware of sustainable practices.

Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramin Vishwavidyalay also aims to develop human resources for social development and economic purpose. Through the tripartite partnership, this organization wants to develop a certification course for CMCLDP cadres.

Anil Kumar SG, Founder, and CEO of Samunnati also told that “It’s indeed a great honor to collaborate with MP Jan Abhiyan Parishad and MGCGV for fostering multi-dimensional rural development and economic empowerment. He also said that it was their opportunity to create a partnership with Heartfulness Institute. This Memorandum will help Samunnati to connect with several members of Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan. Therefore empowering the livelihood of rural communities by adding value-added services.

We are pleased to provide support in expanding agricultural training and certifications to create a strong pipeline of trained personnel, who will further strengthen sustainable development programs in rural areas.”

Samunnati’s vision is mainly to help smallholding farmers to build a market that exclusively helps them to create more profits, improve their standard of living, and also improve economic empowerment. Samunnati also aims to work more with farmer collectives like FPOs, Village Level Entrepreneurs, Cooperatives, and Agri Enterprises.

Anil also told that “It's grateful for Samunnati to partner with Heartfulness Institute to spread knowledge of good agricultural practices developed by Heartfulness with the farming community. Samunnati and Heartfulness have also joined hands to set up a Center Of Excellence at the Heartfulness headquarters at Kanha Shantivanam which procures a collection center consisting of vegetables from farmers over more than 50+ villages, has a demo farm, and other value-added services that can be adopted by farmers to increase their income.” 

Gajendra Gautam, Regional Facilitator of Heartfulness Institute, Madhya Pradesh told that “We are pleased to facilitate the partnership between MP Jan Abhiyan and Samunnati with the vision towards Aatmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh, aims at building self-reliant model villages through capacity building of the rural community. This collaboration will be contributing significantly towards the overall socio-economic prosperity of rural MP and create catalysts for social change and community leaders at the grassroots level as human capital”.
