Recently a Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Naini Aerospace Engineering Limited (NAeL) and Garuda Aerospace (GA) for the manufacturing of drones to contribute towards developing the farm sector.

The NAeL owned by a subsidiary of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited under the control of Manufacturing of Defense would be manufacturing drones with a payload of 25 kilograms, which would be also used by the farm community. The modified drone manufacturing will lead to ease the farm work.

NAeL will begin drone manufacturing by the end of next month.

According to NAeL CEO RR Thakur, "Their innovative initiative will not only help to boost the agriculture sector but also help to create and generate more employment, therefore increasing opportunities for rural employment. It will also increase economic activity in Naini Industries thanks to their initiative. He added that it is the first drone manufacturing facility in Northern India and that it could have a significant impact on a number of sectors, including surveillance and security, agricultural mapping, and many others.
