March 2023 Retails Sales Report: Sales Increased By 3.83% And Sold 81,067 Tractors
As per the reports, in March 2023, Mahindra Tractor experienced a growth in market share of 3.87% and achieved its highest-ever sales with a 26.11% increase.
FADA Research has reported that the total number of retail tractor sales in March 2023 was 81,067 units, indicating a growth of 3.83% compared to the same month in the previous year, which recorded 78,070 units. Additionally, a brand-wise report of retail tractor sales is presented below for your reference.

As per the reports, in March 2023, Mahindra Tractor experienced a growth in market share of 3.87% and achieved its highest-ever sales with a 26.11% increase. The sales figures for March 2023 were recorded as 17,773 units, compared to 14,093 units in March 2022.
Swaraj Tractor also reported an increase in retail tractor sales for March 2023, with a surge of 30.66%. The company sold 14,100 units in March 2023, whereas it sold 10,791 units in March 2022. Similarly, Sonalika Tractor's retail sales figures for March 2023 were 9,870 units, indicating a growth of 6.20% from 9,293 units in March 2022.
In addition, TAFE LIMITED recorded a rise in retail tractor sales by 12.55% in March 2023. On the other hand, John Deere sold 6,816 units in March 2023, compared to 5,553 units in March 2022, resulting in a gain of 1.30% in market share.
VST Tractor experienced a decline of 25.26% in retail tractor sales, selling 426 units in March 2023 compared to 570 units in March 2022.
In March 2023, other organizations sold a total of 2,676 units. In the same month of the previous year, they sold 11,702 units. This indicates a decrease in sales of 77.13%.
