The Punjab Chief Minister recently handed Rs 6 crore from the Rs 12.94 crore set aside for the 362 Fazilka villages. The funds were being distributed to the farmers whose farms had been destroyed by unseasonal rainfall.

Mann stated that he has directed the authorities to conduct thorough examinations of the areas that have sustained significant damage. Additionally, he provided a specific loss evaluation girdawari.

Mann has further asserted that after the severe effects on farms and farmers, the government for the first time immediately distributed and provided compensation within 20 days.

Crops do stand still, and compensation has reached bank accounts, he continued. As a result of the centers' lower purchases of damaged grains and their denial of farmer bailouts, the state government has made the decision to cover all costs and assume all liabilities.

According to the CM, without Punjab's contributions, the nation's granaries could not be filled and the Food Corporation of India (FCI) would not have survived.

He instructed, "Extract with interest every penny of the cut imposed on the farmers from the center". In fact, he claimed that the Centre had treated Punjab and its farmers with great ruthlessness and indifference.
