Mahindra Tractors Registers 5% Domestic Sales Growth in July 2025; Exports Up by 6%

Mahindra & Mahindra reported a 5% rise in domestic tractor sales in July 2025, with total sales reaching 28,708 units. The company also recorded a 6% growth in exports.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), a key division of the Mahindra Group, has reported its tractor sales performance for July 2025, reflecting steady growth in both domestic and export markets.

The company sold 26,990 tractors in the domestic market in July 2025, marking a 5% increase compared to 25,587 units sold in the same month last year. Including exports, total tractor sales reached 28,708 units, showing growth from 27,209 units recorded in July 2024. Export volumes stood at 1,718 units, registering a 6% rise over the 1,622 units exported during the corresponding month of the previous year.

Veejay Nakra, President of the Farm Equipment Business at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., attributed the growth to favorable rural dynamics. “We have sold 26,990 tractors in the domestic market during July 2025, achieving a 5% growth over last year. This performance was supported by sustained land preparation activities and healthy rural cash flows post-Rabi harvest,” he said. He also noted that the normal progress of monsoon across several regions boosted demand as farmers began sowing for the Kharif season.

The company’s export segment also witnessed encouraging momentum, with Nakra stating, “In the export market, we sold 1,718 tractors, a 6% increase compared to last year.”
