Madhya Pradesh Government Offers 50% Subsidy on Paddy Transplanter Machines for Farmers
The government's endeavor to offer subsidies on paddy transplanter machines aims to support farmers in increasing productivity and efficiency during the paddy cultivation process.
In preparation for the upcoming Kharif season, farmers in Madhya Pradesh are eagerly awaiting a suitable time to sow paddy. To support their efforts, the government is providing a 50 percent subsidy on the purchase of Paddy Transplanter machines, which facilitate the efficient sowing of paddy. This initiative aims to save time and labor for farmers. Interested farmers can avail themselves of this subsidy by applying under the Agriculture Grant Scheme MP.
The Agricultural Engineering Department of Madhya Pradesh has not set a specific target for the distribution of paddy transplanter machines. Instead, the machines will be provided based on the demand expressed by the farmers, without the need for a lottery system.
How Much Subsidy Will Farmers Get?
Notably, up to 50 percent subsidy will be granted on the purchase of these machines, ensuring affordability for farmers. General farmers will receive a 40 percent subsidy, while Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, and women farmers will benefit from a 50 percent subsidy. Farmers can accurately calculate the subsidy available for different agricultural machinery by utilizing the subsidy calculator on the Kisan Portal.

The list of selected farmers who qualify for the subsidy will be published on the Kisan Portal. Successful applicants will be notified of their subsidy approval via SMS on their registered mobile numbers. It is important to note that the approval of subsidies for paddy transplanter machines will be based on the availability of the budget allocated for this purpose.
Documents Required
To acquire a paddy transplanter machine under the subsidy scheme, farmers must obtain a demand draft worth Rs 5,000 payable to the Assistant Agriculture Engineer of their respective district. During the application process, applicants are required to scan and upload the demand draft in the name of their district's Assistant Agricultural Engineer on the portal.

Farmers who wish to apply for the paddy transplanter subsidy must complete the online application process on the e-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal MP. During the application, farmers should ensure they have access to their registered mobile numbers to receive the necessary OTP for completing the application.
To apply, farmers need to provide essential documents, including their Aadhaar card, caste certificate, land papers (B-1 copy), and bank account details (copy of bank passbook).
