M&M's Farm Equipment Sector Teams up with SARGA MotoCorp for Tanzanian Farming Sector

Mahindra has joined forces with SARGA MotoCorp (Tanzania) Limited to distribute a wide array of tractors and agricultural equipment in Tanzania. The collaboration aims to enhance farming productivity in the region.

In a significant development, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), recognized as the world's leading tractor manufacturer, has announced a strategic partnership with SARGA MotoCorp. This alliance aims to strengthen the agricultural equipment domain in Tanzania.

Establishing a robust presence since 2008, Mahindra has solidified its position as a notable brand in Tanzania, providing an extensive array of tractors and agricultural machinery spanning the entire value chain of agri machinery. SARGA MotoCorp, a well-regarded global entity in the automotive sector, leverages its knowledge and market understanding to provide exceptional sales and after-sales support to farmers in Tanzania.

As a result of this partnership, SARGA MotoCorp has unveiled a significant flagship showroom, encompassing an approximate area of 300 square meters along Nyerere Road in Dar es Salaam. Additionally, a warehouse and workshop spanning 800 square meters have been introduced at the same location. This strategic expansion approach will persist as they have intentions of establishing more showrooms across the country in the foreseeable future.

SARGA MotoCorp offers more than 25 Mahindra Certified Service Points (MCSP) and an additional three specialized spare parts dealers throughout Tanzania. This initiative enhances the customer journey by ensuring the accessibility of dependable and top-notch components and services.

Sandeep Singh, Founder and CEO of SARGA MotoCorp, expressed immense pride in introducing their farm business in Tanzania. Partnering with the world's largest tractor manufacturer, Mahindra marks a significant moment for SARGA MotoCorp.

Singh highlighted that the collaboration offers an extra dimension of exceptional service. The endeavor showcases more than 25 certified service hubs manned by skilled and seasoned staff. Beyond remarkable service, customers will also be entitled to a two-year warranty along with a maintenance kit covering 1 year/1000 hours, delivering all-encompassing assurance for farmers in Tanzania. Mahindra's dedication reaches initiatives such as "Foster a Brighter Tomorrow" in Tanzania, with the aim of engaging young individuals in the farming domain for sustainable livelihoods.

Kedar Apte, Chief of International Operations - Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., expressed their commitment to transforming farming and improving the lives of farmers globally. Apte mentioned the pride in extending the partnership with SARGA MotoCorp in Tanzania, focusing on agricultural excellence. The collaboration aims to provide not just tractors and farm equipment but also superior performance, productivity, earnings, and convenient after-sales services for Tanzanian farmers.

Further, it was also told that Mahindra has a strong presence in Africa, sending tractors to over 30 markets across the continent. They have a strong position in countries like Tanzania, Algeria, Benin, Nigeria, Kenya, Sudan, and South Africa.

In vehicles, Mahindra has a variety of options for personal and business use, including SUVs, pickups, work vehicles, construction machines, and generators. Mahindra is dedicated to providing affordable tractors and specialized tools for African farming needs, such as rice planters, paddy harvesters, cereal harvesters, and potato machines.
