On April 28, 2023, a sensitization program on marketing strategies for farmer producer organizations (FPO) was organized in Hyderabad by Leads Connect Services, a leading company in the field of Agritech data, risk management, and financial services. The event was held in collaboration with the Agribusiness and Innovation Platform-International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (AIP-ICRISAT).

At the event, Leads Connect Services and ICRISAT signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly study the agricultural value chain dynamics and create sustainable solutions for agriculture stakeholders.

The primary objective of the partnership is to address the gaps in the agricultural value chain by providing solutions that are focused on farmers' needs, such as offering optimal markets for their produce and fintech support. According to a press release, the collaboration aims to provide farmer-centric solutions that promote the growth of the agriculture sector.

Leads Connect Services' Chairman and Managing Director, Navneet Ravikar, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Victor Afari Sefa, a Ghanaian citizen who assumed the role of Director for the Global Research Program Enabling Systems Transformation at ICRISAT in March 2022.

The Agritech company has recently introduced its revolutionary AGRANI app, which is a comprehensive software-as-a-service platform created for all users in the agriculture sector. Its primary objective is to establish links across the entire agricultural spectrum, from farm to fork, and offer solutions prioritizing farmers by utilizing space technology analytics and artificial intelligence. This is part of the agritech's "Khet Se Kitchen Tak" initiative, a solution for the agri-value chain that supports farmers, agri-businesses, and farmer-producer organizations.

"The launch of AGRANI and the subsequent signing of the MoU presented a ground-breaking opportunity for us," says Navneet Ravikar, chairman and managing director of Leads Connect Services.

The knowledge-centered event presented an exceptional occasion for stakeholders to boost their professional growth and create connections. Throughout the event, various authorities and distinguished individuals shared their expertise on important advancements in agribusiness and marketing subjects.

ICRISAT is a non-profit organization that carries out agricultural research aimed at promoting rural development in different parts of the globe. Additionally, it organizes workshops, seminars, and informational sessions to raise awareness among the farming community.
