In a bid to alleviate the global agricultural labor shortage, Kubota, the renowned Japanese engine and machine manufacturer, has unveiled its latest innovation—the MR 1000A Agri Robot KVT. The groundbreaking autonomous tractor made its debut at Agritechnica 2023, captivating attendees with its state-of-the-art features aimed at revolutionizing farm operations.

The Agri Robot KVT is the newest addition to Kubota's autonomous tractor lineup, joining the ranks of the SL60A, introduced in 2017, and the 100 hp class model released in 2020. Boasting a V3800 four-cylinder engine that delivers 100 hp, this mid-range model is built on the Kubota M5112 platform, sharing key components such as hydraulics, axles, and cab for enhanced versatility.

What sets the Agri Robot KVT apart is its fully customized transmission designed explicitly for autonomous operation. This innovation not only addresses the pressing issue of labor scarcity but also introduces elevated safety standards. Farmers now have the ability to remotely operate the tractor both in the field and on the road.
