Kubota Tractor Sales Increased 7% Year On Year In October

Escorts Kubota's total tractor sales increased 7.2% YOY to 14,492 units sold in October 2022, up from 13,514 in October 2021. Tractor sales increased 18.48% year on year in October 2022, from 12,232 units sold in September 2022. Domestic Tractor Sales as of 1 November 2022, according to the Escorts Kubota sales report, are up 8.6%. Domestic tractor sales in October 2022 were 13,843 tractors, an 8.6% increase from 12,749 tractors sold in October 2021. Festive demands were strong, thanks to above-average monsoon rains and higher reservoir levels. All macroeconomic factors remain favorable for the industry in the upcoming Rabi season. However, the company expressed concern about the overhang of unabsorbed commodity inflation.

Kubota also released the 2022 Year-to-Date Tractor Sales Report. Escorts Kubota saw a 6.5% increase in domestic tractor sales in 2022, with 59,847 units sold to date in 2022, up from 56,199 units in 2021. Furthermore, the export year to date in 2022 was 5,145 units, compared to 4,323 units in the same period in 2021, representing a 19.0% increase.
