Know Everything About the 8 New Formulations Launched By ‘Best Agrolife’

On Thursday, Agro-Chemical Company ‘Best Agrolife’ launched eight new revolutionary formulations named Promos, Amitos, Propique, Doddy, Ghotu, Headshot, Citigen, and Vistara in an event in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Below we will be discussing the use and advantage of these formulations in farming and how it is transforming India’s Agricultural Sector.

The 8 Formulations Are:

1. Citigen (Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 per cent W/W SC)

• It is a wide-spectrum insecticide with exceptional insecticide efficiency, low mammalian toxicity, and longer rain fastness.

• It is highly useful for controlling pests in crops like rice, cabbage, sugarcane, cotton, tomato, call, soybean, eggplant, pigeon pea, Bengal gram, black gram, bitter gourd, lady’s finger, corn, and groundnut.

• It is highly useful for ball worms, stems and fruit borers, pod borers, gran pod borers, stem flies, tobacco caterpillars, etc.

2. Vistara (Chlorantraniliprole 0.4 per cent GR)

• It prevents shoot and stems borer numbers in paddy and sugarcane.

• It protects the growers and reduces losses due to low crop yield and maximizing output.

• It is safe and useful for the environment due to its low dosage.

3. Propique (Propaquizafop 10 per cent EC)

• It is a fast-acting herbicide that creates fast absorption by the grass leaves and scatters to all parts of the weed plants

• The translocated parts of weeds are nodes, growing points, roots, and rhizomes.

4. Amito (Ametryne 80 per cent WDG)

• It is a new selective herbicide with wide spectrum activity on grasses and weeds with broad leaves.

5. Promos (Metiram 55 per cent + Pyraclostrobin 5 per cent WG)

• It is a fungicide and a premium wide-spectrum, dual Al fungicide.

• It is very efficient for disease control and effective resistance management in crop products.

• It also offers a yield enhancement effect on the crops.

6. Ghotu (Clothianidin 50 per cent WDG)

• It is an insecticide, that controls soil insects and it is used at the time of planting.

• Perfect for sugarcane, it prevents all stages of insects and controls early shoot borer and sucking pests.

7. Doddy (Dodine 65 per cent WP)

• It is a broad-spectrum contact fungicide and has a protective and removable action exhibiting no cross-resistance to other Fungicides.

• It is an appreciable resistance management tool.

• Doddy provides excellent disease protection for a longer period.

• Doddy can be active in low temperatures with rain-fastness after 2 hours.

• It is highly cost-efficient in early scab control and protects high-value fruit.

8. Headshot (Halosulfuron Methyl 75 per cent WG)

• Headshot is known for its low-dosage efficacy and fastly stops the growth of susceptible weeds.

• It is an excellent herbicide for controlling weeds with residual soil activity.

• It also carries the "green label" which makes it safe to use for protection without poisons.

• Using this provides better results in healthier crops and improved crop yield of crops like sugarcane, corn, and bottle gourd.
