Kishtwar - Farmers Awareness Camp Being Conducted In Jaar Panchayat
Recently Farmers Awareness Camp was organized in Jaar Panchayat, Kishtwar a district in Jammu & Kasmir. The primary goal was to make farmers aware of recent technologies that could help in increasing profits and improving yield.

The camp's primary goal was to inform farmers about the most recent advancements in crop production for Kharif crops like vegetables, paddy, sorghum, and maize. The importance of millet in the diet and its cultivation received particular attention.
Jatinder Singh, a subject matter expert, urged the agricultural community to set aside a section of their land for millet cultivation.
He urged farmers to continue the farming methods that their ancestors had utilized.
The camp featured more than 50 farmers. Farmers showed their keen interest and appreciated the program.
Manoj Kumar, the in-charge agricultural extension officer for Massu, Raj Kumar, the in-charge agricultural extension officer for Sohal, Sunil Kumar, the in-charge agricultural extension agent for Atholi, and members of the Bharatiya Kisan Union were present at the occasion.
Amjad Hussain Malik, the Chief Agriculture Officer Kishtwar, oversaw the planning of the event, with Sahil Gandotra, the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer Paddar, providing oversight.
