PM Modi's Farmer-Centric Announcements

- On July 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make several farmer-centric announcements aimed at empowering the agriculture sector in India.

- During the event, 1.25 lakh Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSKs) were dedicated to the nation. These Kendras will prove to be of tremendous help to farmers as they will provide easy access to seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides under one roof.

- The launch of "Urea Gold," a branded sulphur-coated urea, is expected to offer a more economical and efficient alternative to neem-coated urea, benefiting farmers in their agricultural practices.

- The Prime Minister will release the 14th instalment of approximately ₹17,000 crore under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, benefitting around 8.50 crore farmers by directly transferring funds to their bank accounts in Sikar, Rajasthan.

- In the future, PMKSKs will be equipped with the facility to submit applications for various schemes, further streamlining government support and services for farmers.

- Over the last nine years, the NDA Government has introduced numerous farmer-friendly schemes, aiming to uplift the agriculture sector and improve the livelihoods of farmers across the country.

Comparison with Rythu Bharosa Kendras

- V. Sashibhushan Reddy, BJP Kisan Morcha State president, highlighted the effectiveness of the NDA Government's schemes for farmers in comparison to the Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKs) established by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

- He expressed that while NDA Government's schemes were successfully reaching farmers' doorsteps, RBKs failed to serve the farmers' needs effectively.

- Mr. Reddy accused YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders of exploiting farmers at RBKs through middlemen and claimed that farm inputs were being provided at subsidized prices only to those supporting the ruling party.

- In contrast, the NDA Government's fertilizer subsidy amounted to over ₹1 lakh crore, allowing a 45-kilo bag of urea to be sold at just ₹266, significantly easing the burden on farmers.

- The annual subsidy borne by the Centre on these counts exceeds ₹30,000 crore, demonstrating the government's commitment to supporting the agriculture sector.

Promising Future for Indian Farmers

- PM Modi's farmer-centric announcements reflect the government's unwavering dedication to empowering farmers and transforming the agriculture sector in India.

- The PMKSKs will serve as essential hubs for farmers, providing them with vital resources and services to enhance their agricultural practices.

- The introduction of "Urea Gold" showcases the government's commitment to innovation and sustainability in the agricultural sector.

- Direct fund transfers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme are expected to uplift the economic condition of millions of farmers, contributing to their overall well-being.

- The NDA Government's farmer-friendly initiatives have the potential to revolutionize Indian agriculture, making it more efficient, competitive, and self-reliant.

The recent announcements are a testament to the government's vision for an inclusive and prosperous food economy, where farmers are at the forefront of the nation's progress.
