KAMICO India headquarters will likely be located in Gujarat

The Indian headquarters of Korea Agriculture Machinery Industry Cooperation (KAMICO) may be established in Gujarat. KAMICO on Friday announced the launch of KAMICO India - India 's office of the largest agricultural machinery organization, Agri Asia 2021, international exhibition and Agricultural Technologies Conference held in Gandhinagar.

Calvin Yi, President and CEO, Wevio Global Inc, who officially launched the KAMICO India office in Gandhinagar, said, "Gujarat is a possible location for KAMICO India's headquarters. If we can identify the appropriate industrial park and manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment out here, and their Korean counterparts. ”

“I am interested in building a joint partnership between Korean and Gujarati producers under the make in India initiative. This will pave the way for the development of an agri-tech production ecosystem and at the same time, make local technology solutions available to Indian farmers to modernize agriculture and agricultural processes,”added Yi.

KAMICO aims to work with Indian Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to improve the lives of farmers by promoting the adoption of mechanized agriculture in India.
