J&K Addl Chief Secy Emphasizes Importance Of Farmer Producer Organizations In Agricultural Sector's Growth
Atal Dulloo emphasized the significance of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in the growth and development of the agricultural sector. He highlighted how FPOs can contribute to doubling the income of farmers.

On Saturday, Atal Dulloo, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Agriculture Production Department in Jammu and Kashmir, had a comprehensive conversation with the Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) in the Jammu division. This took place at the Kissan Kendra, Tala Tiloo.
The interaction program was attended by various individuals, including the Director of Agriculture Jammu, the Director of Horticulture Jammu, renowned professors and scholars from SKUAST-J, senior officers of APD, as well as representatives of FPOs and CBBOs.
During a video conference, the Director of Agriculture Kashmir, the Managing Director of JKHPMC, and other concerned officers participated in the program.
At the event, Atal Dulloo emphasized the significance of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in the growth and development of the agricultural sector. He highlighted how FPOs can contribute to doubling the income of farmers.
According to the ACS, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) have the potential to significantly increase farmers' income, generate job opportunities, and ensure food security in the area. He emphasized that the department is dedicated to providing all essential assistance to FPOs to help them achieve their objectives.
Dulloo urged the representatives of Farmers' Producer Organizations (FPOs) to work on building trust among farmers and encourage their participation in these organizations.
He also emphasized the need to conduct awareness programs for farmers, enlightening them about the significance of FPOs, and ensuring that they receive the necessary training to ensure the success of these organizations.
Dulloo gave an assurance to the representatives of FPOs that their concerns would be taken care of, and the government would extend full support to help them overcome their challenges.
