Insecticides (India) Limited (IIL), a prominent crop protection and nutrition company in India, has unveiled a cutting-edge insecticide named 'Mission.' This innovative product is highly effective in controlling various lepidopteran pests that affect crops such as paddy, sugarcane, soybean, and vegetables.

Notably, Mission is designed to be safe for beneficial insects present in crops, making it an exceptional solution that enhances productivity for farmers, as stated by Insecticides (India).
Previously, Mission's technical aspects and formulation were imported into India, but it is now being manufactured domestically as part of IIL's "Make in India" initiative. This "Green" category insecticide aims to benefit small and marginal farmers across the country. Mission exhibits both contact and systemic action, allowing for effective control of insects through ingestion. In particular, it proves highly efficient in managing stem borers and leaf folders, which are major pests in paddy cultivation, according to the company.
