In a bid to revolutionize agricultural practices through the integration of cutting-edge technologies, the 'International Conference on Systems and Technologies for Smart Agriculture (ICSTA 2023)' commenced on Tuesday, hosting a diverse array of research programs in collaboration with leading institutions. The two-day event aims to serve as a pivotal platform for the scientific community and industry to address crucial challenges in agriculture while emphasizing sustainable and technologically advanced solutions.

S Krishnan, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, delivered a keynote address at the inaugural event, emphasizing the transformative potential of technology in agriculture. He underscored the importance of employing technology ethically and inclusively for societal advancement. Krishnan also acknowledged the impactful technological solutions developed by C-DAC, which have contributed to lasting improvements in agricultural productivity within the nation.

Aditya Kumar Sinha, Senior Director and Centre Head at C-DAC, Kolkata, expressed the event's significance in bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and sustainable agricultural practices.
