ICAR and Krishi Jagran Sign MoU to Boost the Growth of Indian Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Krishi Jagran Pvt Ltd have joined forces to bolster Indian agriculture and promote farmers' welfare through the dissemination of ICAR’s initiatives. On Tuesday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two organizations to facilitate this collaboration.
Dr. U.S. Gautam, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Extension) of ICAR, and Shri M.C. Dominic, Founder & Editor-In-Chief of Krishi Jagran Pvt Ltd, formalized the agreement on behalf of their respective entities.
Highlighting the significance of educating farmers about cutting-edge scientific technologies in agriculture, DDG Dr. U.S. Gautam underscored the potential of these advancements in enhancing agricultural productivity and subsequently improving farmers' livelihoods.
“I would like to congratulate Krishi Jagran and its team and now it’s time to see how we can cooperate in sync with our Hon’ble PM’s desire to promote farmers’ welfare in the best possible way,” says Dr US Gautam, DDG (Agri. Extn.), ICAR.
“It’s like a dream come true,” adds MC Dominic, Founder & Editor-in-Chief, Krishi Jagran, after signing the MoU, in the presence of MD, Krishi Jagran, Shiny Dominic, Dr PK Pant, COO, Krishi Jagran and Group Editor Mamta Jain. The aim is to disseminate & promote ICAR’s initiatives to promote the growth of Indian agriculture!

Additionally, the MoU will facilitate the creation of video bytes featuring senior officials and write-ups in relevant editions of the Krishi Jagran magazine, shedding light on ICAR's innovative initiatives.
