Haryana Farmers to Get Nano Fertilizer Spraying via Drones at Just Rs 100

Haryana's Agriculture Minister, Jai Prakash Dalal, introduces an innovative drone initiative, applying nano-fertilizers for a nominal INR 100. Distributed at an IFFCO workshop, this step will benefit both farmers and entrepreneurs, with 2500 drones creating opportunities for 5000 rural entrepreneurs.

In a recent development, Jai Prakash Dalal, the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister of Haryana, introduced a novel government initiative to promote the application of nano-fertilizers using drones. As part of this program, farmers can benefit from urea spraying in their fields for a nominal fee of INR 100.

The announcement was made by Minister Dalal during the 'Agricultural Drone Technology Workshop and Agricultural Drone Distribution Program,' organized by IFFCO at IFFCO FMDI in Gurugram's Sector 17. Dalal urged drone enthusiasts from various districts in Haryana to consider participating in IFFCO's Drone Promotion Scheme, offering them avenues for advancement.

This scheme not only benefits entrepreneurs but also aids farmers by boosting production at lower costs. Minister Dalal distributed drones and electric vehicles to seven participants, emphasizing their crucial role in enhancing services to local farmers.

He emphasized that the utilization of agricultural drones would not only empower entrepreneurs and rural women but also play a role in enhancing farm productivity. Minister Dalal suggested the adoption of IFFCO nano fertilizers to improve both farmer income and soil health.

IFFCO Director A.K. Gupta shared the success of the campaign to purchase 2500 IFFCO farmer drones for convenient Nano Urea and Nano DAP applications.

Gupta emphasized that this effort aims to generate opportunities for 5000 entrepreneurs in rural areas, promoting sustainable agriculture and overall cooperative development to uplift the rural economy. To simplify drone transportation, each drone comes with an eco-friendly electric three-wheeler, presenting a comprehensive approach to modernizing agriculture in Haryana.
