Haryana: DRIISHYA Unveils 26 Special Drones for Farming to Increase Productivity

DRIISHYA, the Drone Imaging and Information Systems of Haryana Limited, a specialized agency established to lead drone-related initiatives aims to offer drone pilot training to young people in the state, opening up job prospects for them. This initiative aims to equip the youth with the skills needed to operate drones, presenting them with new employment opportunities in the growing field of drone technology.

Providing this specialized training, DRIISHYA intends to contribute actively to the expanding drone industry and explore diverse career paths related to drone operations and applications.

DRIISHYA is getting a lot of requests, especially from farmers who are excited to learn how to use drones in agriculture. The Haryana government is fully adopting drones in its overall plan, using them for things like keeping an eye on traffic and preventing crime, as mentioned in an official statement on Tuesday.

The Chief Secretary, Sanjeev Kaushal, spilled the beans that DRIISHYA is teaming up with Gurugram's Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) to bring in drones for surveying national highways. Also, they are expanding their drone fleet with 20 new big drones and six special ones just for demonstrating how drones can spray nano-fertilizers in agriculture, meeting the rising demand.

Recognizing the limitations of the current training setup, the agency is actively looking for opportunities to set up dedicated training facilities. One potential spot is the horticulture university in Karnal, as mentioned in the statement.

This move is all about making drone technology popular and giving benefits to end-users, especially farmers, to improve their productivity. Introducing advanced drones with high-tech solutions will further make things better for farmers.
