Government Paddy Purchaser - Arrived at 443.49 lakhs in October-December Month

A meeting of the diet said that starting from 2021, the purchase of feed at MSP (to type Newton) will be available at a cost of Rs 443.49 crore, as is a new plan.

The government's procurement of paddy at MSP (Minimum Support Price) has reached 443.49 lakh tonnes in the marketing year beginning October 2021, with the maximum quantity procured from Punjab, Haryana and Telangana, the Food Ministry said in a statement.

 

Out of this, during October-26 December about 186.85 lakh tonnes from Punjab, 55.30 lakh tonnes from Haryana, 52.88 lakh tonnes from Telangana, 47.20 lakh tonnes from Chhattisgarh, 38 lakh tonnes from Uttar Pradesh, 15.14 lakh tonnes from Madhya Pradesh during marketing year. Purchased in.

 

The ministry said in a statement that so far more than 47 lakh farmers have been benefitted with a value of Rs 86,924.46 crore.

 

During the full marketing year 2020-21 (October-September), the government had procured 894.32 lakh tonnes of paddy benefiting 1.31 crore farmers with a minimum support price (MSP) of Rs 1,68,848.65 crore.
