Good News For Madhya Pradesh Farmers- A 50% Subsidy On Tractor-Mounted Reapers, Shredders, And Mulchers

The Madhya Pradesh government has recently launched the E-Krishi Yantra Yojana, under which a 50 percent subsidy will be available on crop harvesting and residue management farm machinery. Rabi crop harvesting will begin soon as well. In such cases, a 40 to 50 percent subsidy is provided on the purchase of a straw reaper, automatic reaper or tractor reaper, shredder, or mulcher. Applications have been accepted since the 25th of January. Interested farmers may submit their application form along with all required documents until February 1.

List of Agriculture Machinery Included In The Subsidy Program

Farmers are being given subsidies on agricultural machinery used in crop harvesting and residue management on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government, and they are as follows:

1. Reaper of Straw.

2. Tractor Reaper/Automatic Reaper.

3. shredder/mulcher.

How much assistance will be provided for agricultural machinery?

Farmers in the state benefit from a subsidy on various agricultural implements based on their cost on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Engineering Department. In general, the government provides farmers in Madhya Pradesh with a 40 to 50 percent subsidy on the purchase of agricultural machinery. Farmers can use the e-Krishi Yantra Anudan portal's calculator to determine the subsidy amount for which agricultural machinery.

A demand draught will be required for agricultural machinery subsidies

Farmers must make a DD of the earnest money when applying for the agricultural implement subsidy. This deposit amount has been determined separately for each agricultural implement, and it is as follows:

• Straw Reaper Agricultural Machinery requires an Rs.10,000 earnest money deposit.

• The Earnest Money Deposit for the Automatic Reaper / Tractor Reaper is Rs.5,000.

• Farmers will be required to make a Rs 5,000 DD for the shredder/mulcher.

• Farmers must have this demand draught prepared in the name of their district's agriculture engineer. Farmers can find a list of agricultural engineers by the district on the e-Krishi Anudan portal.

Keep these considerations in mind when creating Kisan DD

The farmer must upload a photocopy of the bank draught along with the number when applying for the subsidy. As a result, when preparing the demand draught, or DD, keep the following points in mind; otherwise, your application may be rejected.

• The bank draught must bear the applicant's name as well as the name of the farmer applying in the portal; that is, the bank draught must bear the name of the person in whose name the application is being made.

• The applicant must make a bank draught in his or her name and upload it with the application.

• If the person submitting the application and the bank draught is not the same, the application will be rejected.

What documents will be required to apply for agricultural machinery subsidies?

To apply for the Madhya Pradesh E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana, you will need to provide some important documents. The following are the documents:

• The applying farmer's Aadhaar card

• Copy of the first page of the passbook for bank account information

• Certificate of Caste (only for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe farmers)

How to Apply for Agricultural Machinery Subsidies

The Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Engineering Department has set goals for providing agricultural machinery grants to state farmers. Applications for this position opened on January 25th. Farmers can apply for these targets online on office days from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. via the e-Krishi Anudan portal. The deadline for applications is February 1, 2023. Farmers should keep in mind that an OTP, or One Time Password, will be sent to their registered mobile number when they apply for agricultural machinery subsidies. As a result, farmer brothers who apply for this scheme should keep their mobile phones with them. Farmers can learn more about this program by contacting their district's agriculture department or the agriculture engineer's office.

On February 2, an agricultural machinery lottery will be held

The lottery will be drawn on February 2 under Madhya Pradesh's E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana against the targets of applications received from farmers interested in purchasing agricultural machinery on subsidy. Following the lottery, the list of selected farmers and the waiting list will be posted on the portal by 3 p.m. Beneficiary farmers' names will appear on this list.
